Obituary

Kenneth “Big Wink” Roy Jenkins, 75, of Clarksburg passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Stonerise Nursing Home. He was born on February 20, 1946 in Philippi, WV son of the late Herbert and Hazel McCutcheon Jenkins.

Kenny served in the United States Army for ten years.  He retired as a coalminer from Blacksville #1 Mines and did some truck driving. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, picking blackberries, and avid WVU and Steelers Fan.

Kenny is survived by his children, Bridgett A Cavanaugh and Mike, Morgantown, Kenneth R Jenkins Jr, Rosemont, Rebecca D Gyorko, Blacksville; three grandchildren, Laura Lee Cavanaugh, Bailey Marie Gyorko, and Mason Shephard Gyorko; one sister, Shirley Cimino and David, Fairmont; several nieces and nephews that he loved and adored.

A graveside service will be held at the WV National Cemetery on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 1:00PM with full military honors accorded by the Taylor County Honor Guard and the US Army Honor Guard.
