Elizabeth Marie Garverick

Elizabeth Marie Garverick Hunter, 51, of Marietta, OH, passed away at JW Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 after a brief illness. She was born on December 11, 1969 in Georgetown, OH, daughter of the late Shannon and Barbara Horner Garverick.

Elizabeth graduated from Marietta High School. She worked most of her life in food services at Hartland Nursing Home. She was also a home health aide for many years and cared for her mother-in-law and several others in their final days. Elizabeth attended Pinehurst Baptist Church in Marietta, OH and loved her church. She married her long-time partner, Wayne, on July 29, 2021. Elizabeth was the most kind, loving, and caring person and would help anyone who was in need. She will be greatly missed.

In addition to her husband, Wayne Hunter, Elizabeth is survived by one sister, Shamra and Dale Martin of Minnesota and one brother, John and Jennifer Garverick of Indiana.
