Burl Gene Moats, Jr., 50, of Lost Creek, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. He was born October 13, 1970 in Morgantown, son of the late Burl Gene Moats Sr and Juanita Smith Moats.

Burl worked as a sales associate at Sheetz. He collected guns, movies and enjoyed hunting.

Burl is survived by his wife Tammy Renee Raines Moats whom he married December 7, 1991; daughter Kendra Rachelle Moats Snyder and husband John, Clarksburg; three sisters, Tammy Kay Duft and Ron, Woonsocket, RI, Pamela Kay Gordon and Fred, Newville, PA, Nina Michelle Carpenter, High Springs, FL; mother-in-law, Carol Jean Raines, Lost Creek; several nieces and nephews

In addition to his parents, Burl was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Lee Edward Raines
