Theresa Sue Barr Holmes, 52 of Fairmont, WV passed away on Thursday (August 2, 2018) at J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born in Orlando, Florida on June 30, 1966, the only daughter of the late Robert Jerold Barr and Nancy Jane (McGee) Barr. She is survived by her two sons, Caleb Barr (and his wife Alexandria), Fairmont and Jesse Holmes, Morgantown; three grandchildren, Sebastian and Isabella Darnell and Amity Holmes; three brothers, Michael Gerald Barr and wife Samantha, Solcomb, AL, William Earl Barr, Enterprise, AL and Nathan Leroy Barr and wife Katurah, Mableton, GA; two nieces and one nephew. Theresa is also survived by her significant other and soulmate, David Allen Riggs. Theresa never met a stranger. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, fishing, boating, and swimming. She loved and embraced life fully. A memorial service will be held in Fairmont, WV on August 15, 2018. Details on the memorial will be shared with family and friends as the date approaches.
