Edward Clyde Ridgeway, 72, of Rivesville, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at his residence. He was born on October 23, 1950 in South Boston, VA, son of the late William Clyde and Norell Epps Ridgeway.

Edward was a Business owner with his son, Ronald Stottlemire. He retired from Allen Barry as a truck driver. He loved going and watching NASCAR, football and Yellowstone. He enjoyed working on his car and making sure it was shiny clean.

Edward is survived by his wife of 47 years, Betty Stottlemire Ridgeway; children, Cindy Carbaugh of VA, Angela Moore of VA, Ronald Stottlemire and wife Debbie, Pamela Stottlemire, Tina Nestor, Rosella Vansickle, Donna Boston and Kenneth Nestor, all of Fairmont; brother, Thomas Ridgeway and wife Debbie of Burlington, NC; twenty grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; his sidekick dog, Duece.

In addition to his parents, Edward is preceded in death by his best friend, Cederic Black, aka Pig.
